It’s acceptable to know up to 50% of participants on your Gold DofE Residential. However, it's important we have flexibility when allocating activity and accommodation groups. This is to ensure your residential meets the outcomes of the gold section, and other requirements stipulated by the DofE Award that are required to be followed by the residential provider. Splitting participants into different subgroups can allow for better mixing with new people and enable your residential to better meet the outcomes of the section. We endeavour to create opportunities for all participants to experience an element of shared and purposeful activity with people they don’t know. We can accommodate friendship groups up to x6 people.
